The funeral of Tadhg Gallagher of Gallagher Bros, who passed away yesterday, will take place on Thursday. Tadhg was very well known and respected throughout the industry and in the wider Killybegs community.
Tadhg was an original member of the Northwest Herring Committee in the 1990’s and a member of the first KFO Pelagic Sectoral Committee from 2005-2006 after which he was superseded by his brother Patrick (RIP). More recently his son Marc has assumed that role and is also a KFO Director.
The KFO express our deepest sympathies to his beloved wife Sheila, his children Susan, Marc and David and all his extended family. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends as well as by the fishing industry.
